Hi!
My name is Kelsey and I am studying at Stenberg to become a Health Care Assistant (HCA). I was born and raised in beautiful North Delta, BC. I have also lived a year in Ireland and it was AMAZING! While I was there, I learned a lot about myself and it helped me decide where I want to go in my life. That year away helped me realize my passion was in the field of health care.
Before I knew I wanted to become an HCA, I spent a year in University on my way to getting a Degree in Criminology with the hopes of becoming a police officer. Although becoming a cop would have been an interesting career. I knew in my heart I wanted to care for the elderly. I’m a very caring and compassionate person so I know that being an HCA is where I will excel. My personal hobbies include softball, hanging out at the beach and any type of water sports. I was definitely born a water baby.
Once I’m graduated I hope to move back and settle in Ireland. I’m very excited to be blogging throughout my program and hopefully giving potential Stenberg Students a different perspective to help with their program search.
