Wow, it’s almost been a year since I enrolled myself in the Counselling Therapist Program at Stenberg College and I can’t tell you how this program has changed me. The personal growth I’ve experienced in the program is incomparable. A major part of the growth I’ve experienced has stemmed from activities, case studies and role-plays. I feel safe within my cohort, safe to explore with these new friends who really have become like a family to me. Each day I’m becoming more of myself and the person I want to be. In saying that, I’ve come to the realization that, I have always been me. I just had blockages that were holding me back. Lastly, I want to say how phenomenal the instructors and faculty are at Stenberg. I’ve never experienced this amount of personal and professional support within an academic setting. I feel so honoured to be learning from people with such extensive experience and such genuine caring for humanity.
