DR. SAIRA SABZAALI, PHD is a Transpersonal Psychotherapist and runs her own private practice. She has helped people to cope through childhood trauma, loss, depression, anxiety, addictions, and interpersonal issues for over a decade. Dr. Sabzaali is an instructor in Stenberg College’s Counselling Therapist diploma program. She has delivered two TedX talks and lives in Surrey with her husband and two kids.

As one of the most powerful elements in our lives, sex touches almost every aspect of our thoughts, feelings, and actions. This workshop creates a safe, trusting environment where the mysteries of sexual relationships can be explored and appreciated from a therapeutic point of view. This workshop offers both couples and singles the sexual knowledge, skills, and strategies to enhance intimacy in their romantic relationship. Through ten easy-to-follow steps, Dr. Faizal takes you on a journey of sexual discovery that will enable you to spice up your romantic life. The next best thing to couples’ therapy, this workshop provides practical advice, case studies of real-life couples, and homework exercises that you can start exploring immediately.
DR. FAIZAL H. SAHUKHAN, PHD is a Couples Counsellor and Clinical Sexologist. The author of Dating the Ethnic Man: Strategies for Success, Dr. Sahukhan also writes the Dear Dr. Faizal column that appears every two weeks in Vancouver’s Metro newspaper. He has spent most of his adult life building bridges between cultures. Dr. Faizal is an Instructor in Stenberg College’s Counselling Therapist Diploma program.  

Who should attend?

Anyone with a pulse … couples, singles, parents, counsellors, therapists, counsellors-in-training, students, individuals interested in a counselling career, and the general public. You must be 19+ to attend. All attendees will receive a certificate. Please note that there is limited seating and registration is required in order to guarantee a seat.
